Comparison cards
Society’s siren tells us we’re not enough. That there’s more fabric to snatch and cling to tight.
In busy pubs – people rest comparison cards on the table: listing annual salary, cars and holidays completed. Too much is never enough. A bottomless brunch of insecurities.
But that’s the wrong game.
It’s amazing to cut hair – pour coffee – arrange flowers – massage feet – teach tennis. Use your hands to give and heal. Slide a little slice of goodness into the universe. And watch it tumble around in the washing machine. Always in colour, ready to pull out again the next day.
Meaning in mastery: to do something better every day. Deliberate and unhurried. All with a smile – with the knowledge that your practice is engraved on you.
Only you can do it – as you.
So what do you do?
